From Nothing to Something Worn

How a MetaModernity Jersey Comes to Life

Our process starts with a small, skilled group of artists. They’re the ones who bring each design to life, focusing heavily on accuracy and detail. We’re able to recreate jerseys — even ones that were never officially released — because we don’t rely on random external sourcing. Everything is built from the ground up using detailed visual references and precise design data.

Nothing here is rushed. Every design starts digitally and is reviewed before it ever moves forward. Colors, fonts, numbers, and overall inspiration are all checked carefully so what’s made actually feels right — not just close enough.

Once the design is finalized, it moves into production.

Manufacturing usually takes close to a month, and that’s intentional. Quality takes time. During this stage, materials are selected, the design is printed or stitched, and the jersey is fully assembled. No shortcuts, no last-minute changes — the goal is to make sure the final piece matches the original vision as closely as possible.

After production is complete, the jerseys don’t ship straight to customers. They come to me first.

This is where MetaModernity really steps in. Every jersey is inspected by hand — checking the print, the material, the overall feel, and how everything comes together. If something doesn’t meet the standard, it doesn’t move forward.

Only after passing quality control are the jerseys packaged. Each order is packed with care and finished with the premium presentation and extras that come with every MetaModernity piece.

This process is intentionally linear. Every step exists for one reason: to protect quality, accuracy, and trust.

STEP 1 — Creation: From Idea to Digital Design

This is where the jersey really begins — not as a product, but as an idea.

What happens here:

  • Designs are created by real artists and designers

  • Every jersey starts as a digital concept

  • Care is taken with:

    • Colors

    • Fonts and numbers

    • Staying true to the inspiration (player, club, era)

  • Designs are reviewed before anything moves forward

Why this matters:

  • Nothing is copied blindly

  • Accuracy is handled before production ever starts

  • What you see on screen is intentional, not random

STEP 2 — Production: From Digital File to Physical Jersey

Once a design is approved, it goes into manufacturing.

What happens here:

  • Final design files are sent to the manufacturer

  • Production includes:

    • Fabric selection

    • Printing or stitching

    • Full assembly of the jersey

  • This stage takes weeks, not days

Why this matters:

  • Jerseys aren’t rushed just to move product

  • The design stays consistent through production

  • Time is respected so the final piece actually feels right

STEP 3 — Quality Control & Packaging: From Factory to You

This is where everything slows down again.

What happens here:

  • Jerseys are delivered to me first

  • Each one goes through:

    • Visual inspection

    • Material and print checks

    • Overall presentation review

  • Only approved pieces move on to shipping

Packaging includes:

  • Protective packing

  • Branded extras

  • A presentation that matches the value of the piece

Why this matters:

  • Nothing ships blindly

  • Every item is handled in-hand

  • What you receive is something I’d keep for myself

Final word

If I wouldn’t wear it myself, it wouldn’t leave my hands.
